With utmost sincerity and in dire anticipation of an affirmative response,we write to Your Goodselves seeking an urgent intervention in the aforecaptioned matter for the greater glory of our generation and also of the earlier ones who have withstood unwarranted might  and greed in nurturing the present one.For all that we owe to the next one, the Aambagan Field has witnesed many a sport,amity and cultural revolutions innately the blessings of divine worship in its varied forms.We wish to continue the same in all its varied form and greater glory save certain serious issues that require the intervention of the State Administration too for religion, the opiate of the masses could devour many a blessed souls.In present day society,we have no place for fanaticism,cultural invasion and most importantly,indifference to unlawful activities in the form of a reward to bribery,extortion or gratifications.The Ambagan Field in its present form houses an educational institution alongside an academic block which nurtures academicians;volleyball cum badminton posts;a stripped off basketball post;a run down cricket pitch which ill supports any respectable game of cricket that the younger generation of the civilized neighbourhoods and families can resort to;a football field which has two rusted posts running diagonally opposite each other(a spectacle of sorts) since the sects have preferred having an additional one for greater interests much in contrast to the regular one we palyed in amidst the social fanfare and acceptable attire under the aegis of Bengal Club;a newly constructed platform for public audience where a pair of parallel bars once stood which ofcourse we appreciate for creating and instilling the element of inclusiveness against the polarisation and fanaticism in politics in the Indian political structure;a mosque which stands almost on an array and labyrinth of shops of all possible and impossible sizes diminishing only the worth of the mosque as a place of worship notwithstanding the garages that could not have survived without the patronage of many in an area earmarked we wouldd not know for what purpose and also alongside another boundary wall of the field.;a majestic tree seeming to be supported by bamboos from all sides besides those that have been planted later and have fortunately survived;a pooja bedi which too has been the focal point of societal survival and has ephemerally epitomised the victory of good over evil as much as the festivities of Durga Puja,Kali Puja,Dasserah have been known to be celebrated for years together and an eidgah where those departed are laid to rest on their final journey. The field in its present form is horribly unlevelled with boulders and stones jutting out at practically most places,is most often littered with bones and discards of all sizes and forms,becomes completely inaccessible with fares as disney melas or feasts which litter and grossly degenerate the innate value of the field,is used by companies wanting to recruit drivers for arab countries,by wannabe drivers and ghastly enough by many who have almost made their homes on the field besides the truck loads of cattle brought in for sale without any direct relevance to a butcher shop there.Activities as aforementioned have logically brought along anti-social elements and even people who collect money on a regular basis for allowing the fostering of such activities.Buses parked for lengthy durations are not an unusual sight too besides those driven in to be refurbished in which so ever manner.The field is devoid of the requisite earth cover and seems perennially dust and refuse laden.Understanding that people have the right to livelihood, the same certainly cannot be at the cost of lawfully permissible activities which have been stalled for quite sometime.Clogged drains and builders might in the vicinity which have been purposely allowed to foster inspite of our repeated complaints to Jusco have been most disheartening and it is with a very heavy heart that we are writing about the incapacity,unwillingness and corrupt practices entertained by Jusco.Jusco infact has been at the helm of rewarding such elements vide the brutal slaining of all codes of ethics set by the Tata Group and applicable to all its group companies.Against our insecurity in the region,we would be compelled to even initiate the strictest of legal proceedings for the continuous inaction especially since the only other playing field has been regained by the Bar Association and a Govt Dept,being the original allottees. The field if ressurected,we could regain much lost glory,the educational institutions could avail its benefits too, prayers offered during Eid could be more humanely divine notwithstanding those at the Eidgah too while for our usual celebration of festivities we could continue with the same with greater responsibility and given the present infrastructure we wish to hold yoga sessions every morning while a pathway if  built running alongside the permitted boundary, people in the neighbourhood would certainly benefit.A sugestion infact from Late(r) MP Singh our erstwhile local legislative represetative  was to convert the field into a park for joggers and other such similar beneficiaries particularly the elderly for whom many a walk to and through Jubilee ark may seem almost endless.The bust of Lt ( Sh)Subhas Chandra Bose stands testimony to his able proposal as much as Netaji's historical association with the City.Lest the earmarked area belongs to the Mosque, the Mosque could well rehabilitate its tenants in a complex in the said area though there certainly should not be any openings towards the field for genuine purposes of security and disposal of garbage,emerging interalia as aplace of worsip and a house for the holy. We eagerly remain in anticipation of any affirmative response while ressuring that in the event of any collective responsibility,we shall not deter the least as much as the dictate in these instances is always a collective responsibility.
